    CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINK?

    No drinks or liquids can be brought on site. You can bring an empty bottle to fill up at the taps. Support The Better Bottle (made 100% from plant-based products and fully recyclable in NZ). No other vessels allowed onsite. You can bring your own picnic baskets, which will be checked on entry. There will also be a variety of ridiculously tasty food stalls available, so bring only essentials and support the local cuisineries!!

    WHAT ELSE CAN WE BRING?

    Sunscreen, umbrella, swimsuit, blanket, sun hat, smiles, ID, cash/eftpos

    ANY OTHER DO'S & DONT'S?

    No Fires. No Glass. No animals, weapons, lasers, drones, or anti-social attitudes.
    Bags, chillybins, baskets etc will all be searched before entry.

    IS IT A CASH BAR?

    Cash and eftpos – no cash out sorry.

    WHERE DO WE PICK UP LOST PROPERTY?

    Any found credit cards, keys, wallets and cellphones are now at the Wanaka Police Station.
     

    WHAT IS TUKI?

    TUKI is the cute and chubby offspring of the late Rippon Festival, held biennially in Lake Wanaka. It is a one day music festival showcasing the finest New Zealand music, situated in beautiful Glendhu Bay, Lake Wanaka. The name ‘TUKI’ is a nod to the majestic Matukituki Valley and River, as well as the Maori word for ‘mouthpiece’.

    IS IT R18?

    No, although if you are under 16 you will need a parent/legal guardian ticketholder. ID required. 12 years and under have free entry with a guardian. One child per guardian, so round up the rellies! LushZone area is R18.

    WILL THERE BE SHADE?

    You betcha. The Tuki Forest provides not only shade but endless fun stuff to do, see and be part of.

    WHAT ELSE CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THE FOREST?

    Without giving too much away, a plethora of visual and auditory delights awaits you. Check out the acts on the Forest Stage.

    WHAT BEVERAGES ARE AVAILABLE?

    B Effect, Wanaka Beerworks, New New New and Rhyme & Reason Beer. Quartz Reef, Tosq and Maori Point Wines. Cardrona Distillery cocktails. The Better Bottle (water) from The Better Good. Non-alcoholic juices, iced teas, coffee, organic options, and more! Free tap water is available, so bring an empty bottle. If you have a Globelet from a past event, bring that too!

    IS THERE A CARPARK?

    There will be car parking next to the festival site. The car park fee goes towards goodly community groups.You cannot return to the carpark till you are heading off for the night, so take everything you need with you (like a jacket for when it gets colder).

    CAN WE TAKE A DIP IN THE LAKE?

    Yes! Between 3.00pm and 5.30pm. No pass outs after 6pm. No alcohol to be taken off the TUKI site.

    ​

    ARE THERE PASS-OUTS?

    There are a limited number of pass-outs between 3pm and 6.00pm. No pass-outs after 6.00pm.

    Note: Same rules apply as at entry: No intoxicated people allowed on site – whether you have a wristband or not.

    ARE DOGS ALLOWED?

    Nope sorry, it's farmland. We are so ridiculously lucky to have access to this sublime land. It’s a working, farming, growing, thriving, joyously uplifting piece of earth.

    IS THERE A PLACE FOR KIDS TO HANG OUT?

    Yes, there will be a Funzone, plus a shady zone in The Forest. Being brutally honest though, it’s not terribly toddler-friendly.

    ​

    WILL THERE BE LIQUOR & DRUG CHECKS?

    You know it. You will be checked on entry, when you are travelling to and from the lake, and during pass-outs. Even with your wristband, if you are deemed intoxicated by security, you shall not pass!

    HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS?

    From $119 to $179. Additional extras include return bus ride, return boat trip, and LushZone access (R18).
